Abstract: В статье речь идет о негативном воздействии языковой среды на речь студента–иностранца. Большая роль отводится влиянию СМИ и молодежной лексики на формирование социокультурной компетенции учащихся. Подчеркивается роль преподавателя в нейтрализации негативного влияния языкового окружения на речь иностранного студента.
The article deals with the negative impact of the language environment on the speech of a foreign student. A large role is played by the influence of the media and youth vocabulary on the formation of the socio–cultural competence of students. The role of the teacher in neutralizing the negative impact of the language environment on the speech of a foreign student is emphasized.
