| Abstract: | A corticioid basidiomycete Hyphodontia sphaerospora was known from Japan and South America. This species was found in this study as also distributed in Taiwan and Vietnam. Description and illustrations based on the studied collections are provided. The morphological distinction of H. sphaerospora from the most resembled species, H. arguta, is discussed. |
