Description:	In the rearing ponds carp fry consumes plankton chironomid larvae par with zooplankton. We studied the nutrition of larvae Chironomus plumosusL., Glyptotendipes barbipes Staeg. and Cricotopus gr. silvestrisF. In the intestines of Ch. plumosusalgae ranged from 30 to 62 % by weight of the food bolus, at Gl. barbipes – 36–61 %, and in the intestines of Cr. gr. silvestris – more than 50 %.
