dc.descriptionThe article presents an analysis of the possibilities for improving the information component of decision­making mechanisms in the system of local government and self­government. It is shown that the results of studies of the positions of the city communities on urgent issues of urban development can serve as a resource for increasing the effectiveness of the processes of preparation and decision-making. The problems with the implementation of accounting for the positions of local communities in the procedures for developing solutions in the system of local government and self­government have been identified.ru
