Данное противостояние светской и духовной власти существенным образом изменило развитие Германии, превратив ее из относительно централизованного государства в одно из самых раздробленных образований Западной Европы. |
| Description: | This article is devoted to the study of the problem of the struggle between the Royal power and the papacy during the reign of the German king Henry IV. This confrontation between secular and spiritual power significantly changed the development of Germany, turning it from a relatively centralized state into one of the most fragmented entities in Western Europe. |
