| Abstract: | Окреслено становище міст Волині у складі ВКЛ. Метою статті є визначення статусу і складу населення міст, переважно великокнязівських, до 60-х років ХVІ ст.В містах Волині жили представники таких етносів: русь/українці, білоруси; поляки, євреї, караїми, вірмени, німці, литвини, татари, та ін. Міські жителі відрізнялися за правовими, соціальними, етнокультурними, конфесійними, професійними та ін. показниками. |
| Description: | The position of Volyn cities within the GDL has been outlined. The aim of the article is to determine the status and composition of the cities’ population, mostly Grand Ducal, to the 60s of the 16th century. Representatives of the following ethnic groups lived in the cities of Volyn: Ruses / Ukrainians, Belarusians; Poles, Jews, Karaites, Armenians, Germans, Lithuanians, Tatars, etc. Urban residents differed in legal, social, ethno cultural, religious, professional, and others indicators. |
