| Abstract: | Статья анализирует семейную (фронтовую и тыловую) переписку периода Второй мировой войны в контексте изучения Холокоста и преступлений нацизма на оккупированной Германией территории СССР. Письма солдат и офицеров Красной Армии, их близких содержат важные сведения о фактах злодеяний (имена, даты и места гибели жертв). Автор полагает, что документы личного происхождения имеют свои преимущества, если сравнивать с источниками официального происхождения. |
| Description: | The article analyzes family (front-line and rear-line) correspondence during the Second world war in the context of studying the Holocaust and the crimes of Nazism on the territory of the USSR occupied by Germany. Letters of soldiers and officers of the red Army and their relatives contain important information about the facts of atrocities (names, dates and places of death of victims). The author believes that documents of personal origin have their advantages when compared with sources of official origin. |
