The activities of the bacteriological center called Detachment 731, which existed from 1939 to 1945 on the territory of Korea, Manchuria and Northern China, are known only because information about it was more or less made public to the whole world in the post-war period, unlike other similar centers, information about which was either closed or destroyed. В послевоенное время появилась информация о его деятельности, в отличие от других подобных ему центров, о которых информация либо закрыта, либо была уничтожена.
