Abstract: The article deals with the life and work of prominent hromadaman to Pruzhany, journalist, writer, editor of the newspaper “Selyanska Niva” Vladimir Hmyr (1905-1942), who was one of the organizers and leaders of the circle Belarusian Peasants and Workers Union (Hramada) in the village Soshitsa of the Selets commune.
