| Description: | The article examines the ideological and aesthetic dominants of a story about a war or a military situation by Belarusian writers born in the late 19th - early 20th centuries; characterized by the evolution of the visual and formal possibilities of the genre of the story of the war, as well as the views of prose writers on the past. |
