Description: Brachycaudus divaricataeShap., 1956 is a species that implement the expansion to the territory of the Cen-tral Europe. In Belarus this invasive species is the main pest of the garden forms of cherry plum (Prunus divaricataLdb). We investigated the modern distribution of B. divaricataein the Republic of Belarus as well as a characteristic of the genetic structure of invasive populations from Belarus and aboriginal ones from Armenia. It was shown that B. divaricataehas been noted in the territory of 6 administrative districts of the Republic of Belarus, 5 landscape and climatic provinces, and 5 regions of the plant introduction in Belarus. Invasive populations has a low level of variability of the STR-loci in contrast to aboriginal, however, this difference is not substantial.
