dc.descriptionThe use of the geopolitical approach by British and American researchers in the study of the German problem in 1945–1990 in particular and the post-war situation in the region of Central and Eastern Europe as a whole. The key geopolitical models that have become widespread in the Anglo-American historiography of the issue identified. Specific historical prerequisites for the formation of a sustainable interest of the academic community in the UK and the U.S. in the concepts of finlandization and Mitteleuropa, as well as the “Rapallo complex” revealed. In conclusion it is stated that interest of researchers in the use of geopolitical models is cyclical, which is due to changes in the international order in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.ru
dc.description.abstractВ статье анализируется использование британскими и американскими исследователями геополитического подхода при изучении германской проблемы 1945–1990 гг. в частности и послевоенной ситуации в регионе Центральной и Восточной Европы в целом. Определены ключевые геополитические модели, которые получили широкое распространение в англо-американской историографии вопроса. Выявлены конкретно-исторические предпосылки формирования устойчивого интереса академического сообщества Великобритании и США к концепциям финляндизации, Срединной Европы, а также «комплексу Рапалло». Сделан вывод о цикличности интереса исследователей к использованию геополитических моделей, что обусловлено изменениями международного порядка в регионе Центральной и Восточной Европы.ru
