Abstract:	The article is devoted to such phenomenon as categoricity and its role in the utterances. We analyzed this phenomenon, in particular the language tools for reducing categoricity and, based on the results of the study, compiled a diagram, dividing them into groups according to the frequency of their use in Chinese economic discourse.
