dc.descriptionSome changes in the spatial streptokinase structure were revealed with the circular dichroism method and tryptophan fluorescence technique at the shifted pH of the solution (1—13) under the influence of urea and heating from 10 to 90 °С. At pH 11—12, the streptokinase globule was supposed to be in intermediate state. In the presence of urea (1—8 M) at pH above 12, tertiary and secondary streptokinase structures appear destroyed but the streptokinase activity is not eliminated. The action of urea, but not of high temperature, is reversible.ru
