Abstract: Autopolyploid method of breeding has great importance for hereditary variation increase in receipt of the primary breeding source. This method causes far-going versatile changes in traits and properties of plants. As experience shows, economic traits, which did not become apparent at diploid level could be increasingly revealed in passing to a new ploidic level, changing the norm of reaction, and stipulating biological benefits.
