Abstract: Potential ways of brassinosteroids’ effect on mammal organisms, in particular, possibility of their direct influence on metabolic processes, have been estimated. It has been shown that side chain structure of brassinosteroids plays an important part in regulation of microsomal activity of mammal’s liver cells. This provides the opportunity for directed modifying of natural compounds, in order to achieve necessary physiological effects. One of positive effects of such modification can be anticancerogenic activity of synthetic brassinosteroid analogues.
