Abstract: У артыкуле на аснове архіўных і апублікаваных крыніц разгледжаны перыяд сацыякультурнай дзейнасці народнага паэта Беларусі Якуба Коласа на пачатку ХХ стагоддзя ў в. Пінкавічы Пінскага раёна і г. Пінску – адміністратыўна-палітычным, эканамічным і культурным цэнтры самабытнага рэгіёна Беларусі – гістарычнай Піншчыны. Аўтарам зроблена спроба сістэматызаваць старонкі біяграфіі Коласа звязаныя з Пінскім краем і прааналізаваць уплыў рэгіёна на яго фармаванне, як грамадзяніна і паэта.
Description: Based on archival and published sources, the article examines the period of socio-cultural activity of the People's Poet of Belarus, Yakub Kolas, in the early 20th century in the village of Pinkavichy (Pinsk district) and the city of Pinsk — the administrative, political, economic, and cultural center of a distinctive region of Belarus, the historical Pinshchyna. The author attempts to systematize the biographical accounts of Kolas related to the Pinsk region and analyzes the impact of the region on his formation as both a citizen and a poet.
