dc.descriptionThis article reflects the result of the historiographic analysis of the historical works devoted to Grunwald battle which were published by British and American historians. The author notes that English-speaking transactions about Grunwald have popular scientific character. The USA and UK historians in most of the works regard to the analysis of the source with insufficient critical attitude. As a rule, they reveal poor knowledge of the historiography of Eastern Europe or the utter absence of it. As a result the description of the occurrence of the Grunwald battle has a perfunctory character that introduces nothing new to the research of this problem.ru
dc.description.abstractДанная статья отражает результат историографического анализа исторических работ, посвященных Грюнвальдской битве, опубликованных британскими и американскими историками. Автором отмечается, что англоязычные труды о Грюнвальде носят в основном научно-популярный характер. В большинстве работ историки Великобритании и США отнеслись к анализу источников с недостаточным критицизмом. Как правило, они показывают слабое или полное отсутствие знаний восточноевропейской историографии. В результате описание событий Грюнвальдской битвы в их трудах носит поверхностный характер, что не привносит ничего нового в исследование данной проблемы.ru
