Abstract: Данная научная работа посвящена исследованию механизмов управления золотовалютными резервами (ЗВР) Национального банка Республики Беларусь (НБРБ), анализу их текущего состояния и факторов, влияющих на их формирование и использование. Управление ЗВР признается одной из ключевых задач Центрального банка, от эффективности которой зависит финансовая стабильность и экономическая безопасность государства. В работе рассматриваются теоретические аспекты управления резервами, анализируется динамика международных резервных активов Беларуси за период с 2021 по 2025 годы, демонстрирующая устойчивый рост. Особое внимание уделяется институциональным основам управления, распределению полномочий между Советом директоров и Инвестиционным комитетом, а также функциям официальных ЗВР.
Description: This research paper is dedicated to studying the management mechanisms of the Gold and Foreign Exchange Reserves (GFE Reserves) of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB), analyzing their current state, and the factors influencing their formation and utilization. The management of GFE Reserves is recognized as one of the key tasks of the Central Bank, upon whose effectiveness the financial stability and economic security of the state depend. The paper examines the theoretical aspects of reserve management, analyzes the dynamics of Belarus's international reserve assets from 2021 to 2025, which demonstrate steady growth. Special attention is paid to the institutional foundations of management, the distribution of powers between the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee, as well as the functions of official GFE Reserves.
