dc.descriptionForeign economic potential is one of the factors and conditions for sustainable regional economic development. Active foreign economic activity is becoming a priority and determines the overall nature of regional economic development. The article is devoted to current issues of research into the foreign economic potential of the regions of the Republic of Belarus, and the features of the regions’ specialization in the international division of labor and their participation in foreign economic activity are identified. The results of foreign economic activity of regions serve as an indicator of the development of the regional economy.-

Активная внешнеэкономическая деятельность приобретает приоритетное значение и определяет общий характер развития экономики региона. Статья посвящена актуальным вопросам исследования внешнеэкономического потенциала регионов Республики Беларусь, выявлены особенности специализации регионов в международном разделении труда и их участие во внешне-экономической деятельности. Результаты внешнеэкономической деятельности регионов выступают индикатором развития региональной экономики.-
