Аннотация: The complete mitochondrial genome of Therioaphis tenera (Aizenberg) was sequenced using Ion Torrent sequencing technology. The genome is 19,200bp in length, which is the largest mitochondrial genome of aphids that has been sequenced so far.Therioaphis teneramtDNA contains the D-loop, 36 coding genes instead of typical 37 due to the absence of Phe-tRNA, and a repeat region which is extremely long (3013bp). Among all aphids with sequenced mitochondrial genomes, onlyT. tenerahas a smaller number of genes in the mtDNA.
